The Garden Room at The Old Coach House is found on the edge of the beautiful New Forest approximately 1.5 miles from the much loved market town of Ringwood.

There are lots of lovely things to do locally. In the immediate vicinity (less than 10 minutes drive) you can visit the market town of Ringwood; see the ponies in the typical and beautiful New Forest village of Burley; eat a delicious breakfast at Hockey’s farm shop; walk to Linford Bottom and cook sausages by the stream on a disposable BBQ or sample a range of local pubs and restaurants.  Within half an hour you can visit Kingston Lacy (National Trust); explore Hengistbury Head and Christchurch Harbour; swim, kayak, paddleboard; visit Salisbury Cathedral; roam the beautiful South West Coast path and discover Durdle Door and the Jurassic coast; cycle across the New Forest; enjoy a cream tea in Corfe Castle; go sailing from Lymington or Poole – to name but a few.

Getting Around

The property is located on a quiet lane but within 6 minutes walking distance of local shops including a small supermarket, bakery, off licence and fish & chip shop. There is parking in a pull in area opposite the house or in the small close, also opposite. The nearest rail stations are Bournemouth and Southampton Airport Parkway; National Express coaches run to the centre of Ringwood which is only a mile or so away. I can pick up / drop off in Ringwood if I don’t have other commitments.
